Just a short entry before the month ends (I hate having months with no posts in my archive). So consider this like a status update … at the moment I am even more silent than usual because I am trying to finish my MSc. thesis as soon as possible … to get that burden off my shoulders. I am looking forward towards new (possibly exciting) horizons … but since my future is not totally clear at the moment I will talk about it some other time.

My LaTeX paper-writing workflow had suffered a severe blow when Inkscape 0.47 was introduced into Ubuntu repositories. With this version Inkscape switched to Cairo library for EPS export and that produced this bug for those of us who use pstricks to make the text in figures look more LaTeX-like.

Since the project has a Facebook page now I guess it is also time to write a blog post about it. More than half of a year ago I have joined the wlan ljubljana project, first as a designer of the logo. Then I helped with the overall web design and now I am also getting into the actual node hosting.

The table is all done now, transported to its permanent location at the faculty. Photos available in my gallery, more will be added soon. While this series of blog posts ends here, nearly a year after it started, the entire story about our exploration multitouch multi-user interfaces only begins … or so I hope at least.

In my past posts, related to the multitouch project, I have described a lot of crucial components, mentioned in every multitouch how-to guide. The packaging of it all is where different reports vary the most. In this post I am going to briefly describe our process of making the "box".
