After three years I have finally closed my Wayn account. After all the ranting about its poor user experience and a lot of misinterpreted or at least poorly estimated Internet "friendships" I am finally giving up on it.

The whole thing is important for me because it was my first social networking site. Before that I tried to stay away from them ... because, well, it just seemed lame. But then I though ... hey, it is a website about traveling ... I will probably meet some fellow travelers. Wrong. It is just another stupid dating site that does not really want to be just that. The ultimate doom of all social portals in my opinion.

*I wonder when Facebook will also start to annoy me that much?*
