Ah … Google Chrome . The new browser from Google that is (unfortunately) currently only available for Windows. Accessing the download page from Linux throws you to a page with a form which you can use to subscribe to news regarding the Linux version of Chrome. Nothing wrong with that except the Slovenian disclaimer translation on that page.

This disclaimer was taken from this page on 3rd of September 2008:

• Google vaš e-poštni naslov potrebuje, da vam bo lahko posredoval novice, posodobitve in inforlinuxije o zagonu, ki so povezane z brskalnikom Google Chrome, in strinjate se, da vam lahko po e-pošti pošiljamo takšne inforlinuxije. Google bo vaš e-poštni naslov hranil nekaj časa po izdaji brskalnika Google Chrome za Linux, nato pa ga bo izbrisal. Več inforlinuxij o tem, kako Google obravnava vaše podatke, najdete v našem Pravilniku o zasebnosti.

Now the funny thing is the word “inforlinuxiji” (written here in its indefinite form). Such a word obviously does not exist in Slovenian language. So perhaps Google is trying to launch a new construct word into the community … however, knowing which word is usually placed in such a disclaimer we can see that there should be a sequence “mac” where there is “linux” … and now the story is pretty damn clear: find & replace can be tricky.
