I have a new cell-phone! :D

After three and a half years I have finally decided that my old Siemens C60 is Old … kind of. Not really in accordance to my “money-saving” philosophy as its battery still managed to keep it alive for about four days (some people … like my sister … use their cellphones so much that even a fresh battery does not last that long ;) ).

There are many reasons why I have picked this specific model … mostly aesthetic ones :) The non-aesthetic reasons are not strictly model related. One of such is the ability to synchronize my calendar and address book with my computer (so far only my iBook as it is the only computer with Bluetooth module in the house). One important thing regarding this is that Sony Ericsson W580i is not supported by iSync (Apple application for synchronization) by default. There are some commercial plugins (not that expensive but I don't have a Master Card yet). But I have managed to find also a free one … located here. So far it worked perfectly although there have been some problems with iCal synchronization mentioned on Apple Support forum. Hope this helps anyone.

And as I am finally starting to pay for my conversation expenses as normal people do (i.e. not in advance) this may as well mark a new important turn point in my social life (at least I hope it does :D) … if you cant see a connection then you should ask me and I will explain the logic behind it :)
