The hardware has finally arrived! Three 250 GB disks, an UPS unit and a fan (it was not really necessary but it was cheap and I love fans even-though they make noise).

Putting four disks into one computer chassis can get a bit tricky because most chassis are not designed to contain that many disks (well theoretically they are but the disks get clustered together really tight without any space for the air in between ... not really something I want to do). So I have done a bit of improvising and made a four disk stand you cans see below:

Now just a little notice: I am not some kind of air circulation expert so the solution is probably far from optimal. I just like to use the space if it is available ;)
