From the WebStrips project webpage >*As a first step towards WebStrips 0.5 I am releasing WebStrips 0.4.1 with many new features. WebStrips now supports preloading that should (considering normal use) enhance user experience. The problem is though that the mechanism is not tuned properly yet and may cause some weird behavior regarding memory usage. The other major change is that comics are now loaded to WebStrips dynamically depending on user preferences. This also means that default installation does not have any comic included but you can download them here Still no new comics are supported - the reason for this is that I am working on JavaScript based plugins for the next release and I want to do have many legacy plugins that will have to be rewritten.*
