I have promised this post to some people that are interested in how much have I spent during my stay in Sweden. Since my last exam has been entered into the system today and that means I officially have 30.0 ECTS points (one full semester) I have remembered the promise and I have gathered all the necessary financial data and here are the results:

The total amount of money spent during approximately five months is 2720 € (this also includes travel expenses there and back). Without traveling I have spent 2230 €. Distributed over five months that makes about 446 € per month and that is significantly less than estimated 700 € per month. Of course it is true that I have not traveled as much as I would have liked to and that I do not drink alcohol or go to entrance-fee parties. Well, my final thought is that I have spent less than expected and I am pleased with this (more money for future “investments”).
