I finally got additional 512 megs of memory for my iBook. It is running much faster now and lets hope that it will stay this way. The not so direct consequence of this action was that I have found out that NeoOffice (native Mac port of OpenOffice) with two four-page-no-images documents opened takes 300MB of my RAM. That's bloated.
